Special Needs Camp Direct Support Professional Disability Support Weekend Job
Looking for a part-time weekend job that's meaningful, fun, and flexible?
Elks Camp Moore is hiring Weekend Respite Camp Counselors to work as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) supporting adults (19+) with disabilities and special needs in an overnight camp and respite care setting.
This role is ideal for college students, education majors, healthcare students, psychology majors, social work students, teachers, paraprofessionals, and anyone seeking rewarding human services experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support and person-centered care to adults with disabilities
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygeine as needed
Promote inclusion, safety, and emotional well-being
Participate in structured camp, recreation, and leisure activities
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary support team
Serve as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in an overnight respite program
Schedule & Job Details
Part-time, weekend-only position
Overnight shifts: Friday evening through Sunday morning
Flexible scheduling - choose available weekends
Seasonal opportunities in Spring and Fall
